Our students are not only the best dancers in the area they are also shining stars as people.  Every month we will feature our Students of the Month as well as our high academic achievers.  There are many studies that have shown that students involved in a dance program do better in school-we've got the proof.

April:

Competition Kid of the Month

Lucy Krubiner Williams
Imagine the heart break of falling on the ice while warming up for a figure skating competition.  Even worse your leg is broken.  Lucy who competes in both ice skating and dance had to sit on the side lines for 5 months with a cast and then physical therapy but she got back on the skates and back on the stage.  With hard work she's back stronger than ever and helped our competition team win two Top Ten places at Prime Time Dance.  For her courage to get back up she is our Comp Kid of the Month.

Little Dancer of the Month
Angelique Calma
It's bad enough being little sister and have to sit waiting for big sister's classes to finish.  But this little super star has learned her big sister's dances just by watching.

Dancer of the Month
Sophia Bulling

Sophia only started dancing a year and a half ago in our recreational program but with the heart of a dancer and the determination to catch up, this hard working dancer is doing just that.  She takes every class she can and by giving 100% in every class she is moving quickly ahead to catch up with girls her age who have been dancing longer.  If you want to do it you can-Sophia is proof.

High Academic Achievers

Not only do our students who are dancing in competition take a full program of dance classes they are also stars academically.  Our competition team memebers with an A average are:  Katy O'Kane, Gretel Falkenstein, Emma Sloan, Samantha Mejia, Amber Florin, Kylie Semel and Donita Calma .  Keep up the good work!!!
